RicoRock - Modular Waterfalls


The Love Seat Grotto is a fully modular product new for 2008. This waterfall is designed to be built around a traditional love seat but also can be adapted to work on a round spa or radius. There is a patent pending engineered design that incorporates a steel reinforced concrete core so the top can handle a 1000 lb load.

The 5 Ft Grotto as a fully modular product is new for 2007. It is also available as a structural product (see next page) but the Hybrid is no longer available. The heaviest pieces weigh about 400 lbs but a four man crew can muscle these pieces into place in one day. Mortar holds the pieces together and there are internal columns that are filled with concrete for structural integrity as well as columns for plumbing. A 3 way valve on the back directs water to the top or the right side waterfall. The cast pieces are pre-colored but installers would usually add some touch up or accents after installation.

This popular waterfall was redesigned to look more like individual boulders and to have both a sheet waterfall and a trickle effect on the left side. The total width is about 8 feet, it is 30 inches from front to back and 3 ft high. For an effective sheet effect it needs 40 gpm of water flow but can handle up to 80 gpm.

The 4 Ft Double Waterfall is available as a modular kit with 14 pieces that are mortared together on a concrete foundation.

Repisa - 4 Piece Ledger
This low profile waterfall is 10 feet wide (the main piece is 7 ft), about 22 inches high, and 3 ft from front to back. It looks great on a flat pool beam, a raised pool beam or a pond setting. It works with a wide range of water flows, from 10gpm to 80 gpm.

Lift kit rocks are available for a higher waterfall. This kit is not intended to be used for a grotto or cave application.

Small but just right for limited areas the 18 Inch Cascade creates a rush of water that adds some sparkle and sound to a spa or pond. Our L4 boulder goes nicely with this waterfall and is optional at extra cost. Water flow is recommended to be 10-20 gpm.

The 24-Inch Waterfall has 6 pieces, none weighing more than 100 lbs. These waterfalls are used on small pools and ponds and only need a water flow of 10-20 gpm.


A new addition to our modular waterfall line is a ledger style model that can be stacked vertically for a tight area or the layers can be offset for a stair step effect. Water flow is recommended to be 20-50 GPM and some sheet effects are created at a higher flow rate. The heaviest piece weighs about 200 lbs.
